Visualizing the growth of the sensor.community network

Hi there,

to get an impression about the growth of the sensor.community (formerly luftdaten.info) network of DIY particulate sensor kits, we used grafanimate the other day [1].

  1. Those animations currently just cover the years 2015-2018 and the Europe region, so we want to give it a refresh soon as the LDI network still sees continued growth [2]. However, we haven’t touched grafanimate for a while and don’t expect it work with recent versions of Grafana out of the box. So, we will probably have to give it some love beforehand. ↩︎

  2. According to https://sensor.community/, there are currently 13.994 active sensors in 75 countries worldwide. ↩︎
