About
This year’s Berlin Open Data Day (BODDy) took place on 5. November 2019 in cooperation with the Open Knowledge Foundation and was initiated by the state initiative Projekt Zukunft of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. Under the motto “Intelligent Data”, over 150 guests from the Berlin administration and the Open Data community met to trace the status quo and discuss case studies on how innovative and intelligent applications for urban society can be developed from open data.
The new Berlin Open Data manual for administration was also presented to the public for the first time and could be taken home by the participants.
Instead of workshops, more space was given to the networking aspect this year. Various Open Data success stories were presented in the form of short lectures.
