Power plant map Germany

Germany is the largest electricity producer in Europe. It is also one of the largest CO2 producers and at the same time has a third of all renewable capacities in Europe. However, this combination of conventional and renewable energy also presents Germany with major problems, especially in the provision of energy at the time of demand or availability.

But why is this a problem at all? This is due to the locations of the power plants. Find out more about the power plant locations in Germany here.
